Applying for accreditation
The rector or main academic authority of the institution interested in evaluating a program of engineering or architecture, must send a letter to the President of the CFIA´s accreditation council, requesting to start an accreditation process and indicating that they know all the conditions established in the instructive and procedures.
Accompaniment and training
The interested institution or academic unit may request the assistance of accompaniment or training from CFIA in their process of preparation for the accreditation. They should request it through a note addressed to the chair of the CFIA´s Accreditation Board. The accompaniment or training will be made by CFIA’s Professional Development Department.

The training will be developed by the administrative staff of the Accreditation Agency of Engineering and Architecture Programs (AAPIA)
