Provides the formal process for the accreditation and reaccreditation of Engineering, Architecture, and Computer Science programs, ensuring compliance with national and international quality standards through a rigorous, transparent, and participatory model.
TRAINING AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
Organizes and promotes training activities aimed at accredited programs or those undergoing the accreditation process, facilitating continuous improvement through workshops and courses that support self-assessment and compliance with the criteria, standards, and procedures of the current accreditation model.
TECHNICAL ADVISORY AND SUPPORT IN THE ACCREDITATION PROCESS
Provides guidance and follow-up throughout the stages of application, diagnosis, training, peer review visits, and the preparation of technical reports; additionally, offers support in fulfilling post-accreditation commitments.
MANAGEMENT AND ADMINISTRATION OF THE ACCREDITATION MODEL
Manages the entire process, from the call for applications to the final decision, including the formation of technical committees, the deployment of peer evaluators, and post-accreditation follow-up.
OFFICIAL RECOGNITION AND LINKAGE WITH NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL SYSTEMS
Works in coordination with national entities (such as SINAES) and international networks (such as the Washington, Canberra, and Lima Accords) to provide accreditation with both national and international recognition.
